Nebraska Film Group The NFG is extremely excited to announce that Jay Giannone will host a workshop on March 21st from 3-4:30 p.m. in the NFG Studio. Jay Giannone, born in South Boston Massachusetts is a second generation actor. He follows in the footsteps of his mother Janet, a fine theatrical actress.Jay’s acting debut came in 1996. He acted as a drug dealer on the hit show “Pacific Blue”. He soon followed that experience by acting as a thug on “America’s Most Wanted”. His next endeavor brought Jay back to his home town, South Boston, and he appeared in the movie “Southie”, starring Donnie Wahlberg.In 1999, Jay paired up with close friend, Mark Wahlberg, and filmed “Three Kings”, which also starred George Clooney and Ice Cube. In 2003, Jay continued his acting and began working on the film “Confidence”, starring Dustin Hoffman, Tommy “Tiny” Lister, Paul Giamatti, and Edward Burns.More recently, Jay has had roles in The Departed,Gone Baby Gone,I heart Huckabees and many more. I have had several discussions with Jay personally and am amazed at his knowledge of this business. Jay is an all around great guy and straight shooter who will keep you entertained and informed in this open discussion workshop.
