Boy Scouts need some filmmaker mentors, April 25th
I have been contacted by the Boy Scouts to see if I can wrangle up some folks to help out with an event in Humbolt NE on April 25th. I have been asked to help find some experts in the Film & Video field, hence why I’m emailing you.
The title of the event is “Lights Camera Scouting” where Scouts Ages 11-14 are working on shooting short videos and they are looking for folks to volunteer to do a 30-45 minute “class” on film making/special effects/lighting/talent/equipment/tips & techniqes and all things video/film making. The scouts are camping Friday – Sunday but the sessions will be held on Saturday only. It is a volunteer event and lunch (camp type lunch) will be provided.
They’re looking for 8-12 people to do these sessions. If you or someone you know would be interested in sharing your knowledge with some young “up and coming film makers”, please forward my info to them.
